Above the clouds, or just in them!
Speaker: Anthony Caruana, Pocket Mojo
Technology journalist Anthony Caruana looks
at computing beyond the local hard drive. Can we really run most of our software from somewhere on the Internet?
Can we safely store our data? What are the opportunities and pitfalls? Join us as we journey through the
world of cloud computing and software as a service.
The Apple Wiki
Speakers: Frank Ryder and Gary Bass, Connecting
Point
Did you realise that the OSX wiki and blog server included within snow leopard server is now available
on a mac mini? Come to this session with Frank and Gary who will provide examples of how the apple wiki works.
Those of you with a MacBook/iPod Touch/iPhone (and this would include most of us!) please bring one of these
items along as you are invited to login on the night and make your own comments on the blog/wiki. Who could
miss this opportunity for our opinions to be heard!
—The iMug Monthly Meeting is held the 4th Tuesday of the month, except December and January. $2 supper contribution. Visitors welcomed.
